What goes into the IEP once a student with ODD or DMDD qualifies?

Present levels describing how irritability, outbursts, or defiance affect access; measurable goals (emotional regulation, frustration tolerance, replacement behaviors, social skills); an FBA and BIP (especially central here); related services (school-based counseling, social work, behavior specialist check-ins); accommodations (cool-down space, advance warning of transitions, a trusted adult, de-escalation rather than immediate discipline); and a manifestation determination process if disciplinary action is considered.
