Services should be based on the student's individual needs, not simply what a school typically provides. The team should consider what instruction, related services, behavioral supports, accommodations, and other services are necessary for the student to receive an appropriate education and make progress.
Instead of starting with "What service do I want?", start with: "What does my child need, and what evidence shows that need?"
The free IEP Review checks each service in the IEP for frequency, location, duration, and start date, and gives you the question to ask about anything missing. Your file never leaves your computer.
